Hoyoverse makes the Genshin world more realistic and immersible by giving the stories and profiles of their characters. Here are five playable characters to celebrate birthdays in August this year. Check out their dates of birth, birthday mail rewards, and art below.

#1. Amber - August 10th
Amber has celebrated her birthday in Genshin Impact two times since 2020. This will be the third time Genshin players receive birthday mail rewards from this Outrider of the Knights of Favonius. In two previous birthday celebrations, we got:
- Outrider's Champion Steak! (signature dish);
- Dandelion Seed (2021);
- Sweet Flower (2022).
This year, you also receive her signature dish "Outrider's Champion Steak!" and some local specialties in Mondstadt. This dish is a special version of the Steak cooked from raw meat in this game.
#2. Mika - August 11th
Mika is a new character who was released a few months ago. Therefore, it will be the first time we celebrate his birthday in Genshin Impact. He also comes from Mondstadt. So, we can expect to receive some of Mondstadt's local specialties with a Surveyor's Breakfast Sandwich - the signature of this Knights of Favonius' Front-Line Land Surveyor.
The base dish of Mika's signature dish is Adventurer's Breakfast Sandwich. You can obtain its recipe after reaching Reputation Level 4 in Mondstadt. This 3-star ATK-Boosting dish looks mouthwatering.
#3. Faruzan - August 20th
Faruzan is also a new character released this year. She is from Sumeru, so her birthday e-mail will be attached with some local specialties from this nation. Besides, she will send you her special dish with a long name - Traditionally-Made Charcoal-Baked Ajilenakh Cake.
It's the upgraded version of Charcoal-Baked Ajilenakh Cake - a Sumeru-style dish for Recovery. This cake is made from Ajilenakh Nut, Flour, and Jam. You can buy its recipe from Lambad in his tavern in Sumeru City.
#4. Ningguang - August 26th
Released on September 28, 2020, Ningguang celebrated her birthday twice in 2021 and 2022. In previous birthday celebrations, Genshin Impact players received her signature dish with some other gifts, including:
- Qiankun Mora Meat (special dish);
- Glaze Lily (2021);
- Delicious Adeptus' Temptation (2022);
- Delicious Chicken Tofu Pudding (2022).
The owner of the floating Jade Chamber is one of the richest women in Teyvat. That's why she sent the Traveler luxurious dishes and ingredients on her birthdays. Both Adeptus' Temptation and Chicken Tofu Pudding are rare traditional dishes in Liyue though her favorite food is a normal dish cooked from Flour and Raw Meat.
#5. Mona - August 28th
Mona is a famous Enigmatic Astrologer from Mondstadt. She will celebrate her birthday in Genshin Impact for the third time next month. Here are the rewards we got in the two previous birthday emails from Mona.
- The special dish of Der Weisheit Letzter Schluss (Life);
- Teachings of Gold (2021);
- Teachings of Resistance (2022).
Based on this concept, we may receive another type of Character Talent Material on her birthday this year.
